**New** No-Show Charge Fee

We understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or obligations for work or family. However, when you do not call to cancel an appointment, you may be preventing another patient from getting much needed treatment. Conversely, the situation may arise where another patient fails to cancel and we are unable to schedule you for a visit, due to a seemingly “full” appointment book.

If an appointment is not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance you will be charged a fifty dollar ($50) fee.

Billing & Payments

Payment is expected at the time of service. For your convenience, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted. Each patient is responsible to pay his or her own bill. Product returns or exchanges are accepted when accompanied by a receipt within 30 days. Purchases made with cash or check will be reimbursed within 10 days via a company check. Products that have been opened will be assessed a 25% re-stocking fee.

We were one of the first medical offices in the region to implement a fully integrated computer system.   By investing in this system, we are directly investing in your health.  The medical and cosmetic processes are streamlined which improves your care and provides time and cost savings, allowing us to keep our charges reasonable.

Online Payments

Make payments easily and conveniently online, anytime by going to our Online Payments page.

Our system stores your cosmetic and medical information on a secure server and attaches critical data like laboratory and pathology results and also connects your clinical information to your insurance information for more accurate billing.  We are able to quickly access up-to-date information about your health enabling better aesthetic and clinical decisions which translates to–A Healthier, Happier You.

Insurance

If you are being treated for a condition that is recognized by your insurance company, as is customary, patients are responsible for any deductible and co-pay that is required by their insurance carrier. Health insurance is designed to help you meet the costs of medical care, but the basic responsibility is yours. Your insurance contract is between you and your insurance company and defines to what extent if any the insurance carrier will reimburse you. There is no contract between the insurance carrier and the dermatology specialist. We accept payment directly from some third party insurance carriers for specific treatments.

We participate with most major insurance carriers for non-cosmetic treatments including Humana Choice Care, Anthem, Aetna, OCHN, Sagamore, and United Healthcare. As a service to our patients, we file insurance. If you have questions regarding your bill, please call (270) 685-5777 extension 5 or (270) 830-7546 extension 5 and one of our billing and insurance specialists will be happy to assist you.

Financing

Financing may be available for medical and/or cosmetic procedures and services. Financing may also be used for product purchases exceeding $300.
