About Us

Welcome to Henderson Dermatology

Henderson Dermatology, located in Henderson, Kentucky, is an affiliate of the Owensboro Dermatology Associates practice group. Started in 1993, this world-class, dermatology practice continues to grow its expertise, highly trained team and locations to offer comprehensive dermatology services in a neighborhood near you. As a comprehensive dermatology medical facility, one of our goals is to be known for exceptional patient care by providing the best possible service with the use of innovative, modern technology and the most effective treatments available. We strive to be a model by which other dermatology practices try to emulate.

Henderson Dermatology Associates began as a small clinic that provided care to area patients once a week. Through the Henderson location, we now offer services to the region 5 days a week, acquiring additional office space for the convenience of our patients.

With a combined total of more than 60+ years of experience in dermatology, you can feel confident that our highly trained board-certified dermatologists, Mohs surgeons, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, aestheticians and skin experts will provide reliability, experience, and quality you can trust. Your skin health issues and concerns are our priority!

Our Board Certified Dermatologists, Dr. Michael J. Crowe, and Dr. Artis P. Truett, III, have extensive training and 25+ years combined experience in MOHS Surgery, an advanced skin cancer surgery. Doctors Crowe and Truett are Fellows of the American Society for Mohs Surgery and provide services to patients in Kentucky and the surrounding areas and states including Indiana and Illinois. MOHS Surgery has a recurrence rate of only 1% as opposed to other procedures which are 5 – 10%.

Education and Research

The practice and the staff are dedicated to helping improve the lives of people with dermatological diseases and conditions by raising awareness, providing public and patient health information, and supporting and being involved in research. Through our involvement in research projects we hope to help find improved treatments and possible prevention and even cures.
